Meet Our Staff
DR. NICHOLAS J. HAMILL, M.D.
Dr. Hamill has been a practicing Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat physician) in Tacoma since 1998. He is subspecialized in otologic (ear) surgery but treats all aspects of ear, nose and throat disorders in his practice. He graduated from Loyola Medical School in Illinois followed by a general surgical internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center followed by a fellowship in otologic and neurotologic surgery at the Michigan Ear Institute in Detroit. He practiced in Delaware for one year while his wife completed her Air Force obligation before moving to Tacoma. Dr. Hamill is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology.
Dr. Hamill enjoys the medical and surgical aspects of his chosen profession and the relationships it fosters with his patients. When not practicing Otolaryngology, he remains active keeping up with his three children. His interests include fly fishing, fly tying, photography and piano.
SETSUKO MURAKAMI, AuD
Setsuko received her BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences as well as her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Washington. She completed her Doctor of Audiology from Salus University. She has worked at the prestigious House Ear Institute and Virginia Mason. She enjoys hiking, playing tennis and volleyball, cooking, traveling and spending time with her husband and dog!
