Meet Our Staff

DR. NICHOLAS J. HAMILL, M.D.

Dr. Hamill has been a practicing Otolaryngologist (Ear, Nose and Throat physician) in Tacoma since 1998. He is subspecialized in otologic (ear) surgery but treats all aspects of ear, nose and throat disorders in his practice. He graduated from Loyola Medical School in Illinois followed by a general surgical internship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD. He completed his Otolaryngology residency at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center followed by a fellowship in otologic and neurotologic surgery at the Michigan Ear Institute in Detroit. He practiced in Delaware for one year while his wife completed her Air Force obligation before moving to Tacoma. Dr. Hamill is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology.

Dr. Hamill enjoys the medical and surgical aspects of his chosen profession and the relationships it fosters with his patients. When not practicing Otolaryngology, he remains active keeping up with his three children. His interests include fly fishing, fly tying, photography and piano.

JACLYN KNUTSON, MA

Jaclyn received her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Eastern Washington University and her Master’s Degree in Audiology at Western Washington University. Jaclyn has worked in a variety of clinical settings including Non-profit and Hearing Conversation, where she developed a passion for hearing loss prevention and education. With over 10 years of experience, including 3 years experience in an ENT clinic, Jaclyn uses her knowledge of the latest hearing aid technology to provide the best care to all patients.

Jaclyn and her family have lived in Lacy for the last 8 years. With a father in the military, she has lived in many states but is proud to call the Pacific Northwest her forever home!  She and her family enjoy community events, hiking and kayaking.
